Some things to consider include how the user is going to interact with the door, what is the setting in which the doors will be used, and what functionality features should be incorporated.

Today, sliding doors tend to have a clear anodized finish for casing’s, custom powder coated and painted colors, standard brushed finishes, and dark bronze anodized finishes. For door slabs, we mainly see plain sliced white maple, laminate doors, and aluminum stile and rail doors.

Serenity provides CAD and REVIT files for our system, as well as Continuing Education and access to view our current systems at different Trade Shows across the nation.

Sliding door systems can now be integrated into all standard wall thicknesses from 4 7/8” – 7 1/4” (Clear Anodized Aluminum) and custom thicknesses up to 11”.

The 8” measurement provides the ADA compliance of 1.5” on either side of the handle for grasping of the handle and covers the width of the visible casing when the door is fully closed.

Please use our Find A Rep page to find a nearby Serenity Sales Rep. They will put you in touch with a Door Distributor in your area who will be able to assist in ordering your parts.

If your door is not sliding smoothly please refer to our installation manual, the Surface Mount System Guide, for information on how to adjust your sliding door.
