On March 11, the World Health Organization characterized the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as a pandemic. Like all of you, we take our families, our team members’, our vendors, and our customer’s health and safety seriously. We have provided answers regarding our operations during this time below:
Are we still open?
Yes. As a large portion of our work pertains to manufacturing door systems for the healthcare industry, we fall under the protection of the Executive Order D2020-017 released by Colorado Governor, Jared Polis. This order exempts certain businesses that are essential to Critical Manufacturing and Construction. We are proud that our team here at Serenity falls into these categories and that we can continue to operate, keep our employees working, and do our part for our community and customers during these trying times.
Are any of our operations changing?
For the month of April, we will be adjusting our protocol in
the field and at our facility here in Colorado Springs in a few ways. In
addition to working from home when we can and practicing social distancing, we
have instituted a company-wide travel ban for all business-related air travel
until further notice. We also will not be attending any conventions, trade
shows, or conferences during this time.
Right now, our focus is on the safety of our customers, employees, and partners and providing continued outstanding service. Although we are planning for all contingencies, it is possible that we may encounter service and delivery disruptions as a result of the virus and its effect on our team members and suppliers.
We will continue to update you on our operations as we monitor government-issued updates. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work through this difficult situation.
